Unfortunately, these features seems to be the tradeoff for having an otherwise full feature set. I'd much rather manage these things locally than have my every internet action monitored, analyzed and sold. It's beyond me why people are so intent to share all their browsing activities with third party "cloud" services like Google, Instapaper, Evernote, etc. I also like that I'm not forced to sync with Google Reader as I am with Reeder and others. Being able to scan multiple feeds at once is a far more productive use of my time then navigating the traditional frame and column views for parsing feeds one-by-one. Of the feed readers I've tried, I feel that Pulp has the slickest and most efficient UI.
